Raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support27th September 2019
Sumners Farm Close in Harlow hosted a special Macmillan Bake and Buy to raise money for the cancer support charity.
Residents from Manorcourt’s Sumners Farm Close enjoyed socialising with other residents while browsing the many baked treats.
Lesley James, manager of the supported independent living branch said, “The Macmillan Bake and Buy was enjoyed by all who attended. We really do have some star bakers here in Harlow! We are delighted to have raised a wonderful £68.80; I would like to extend a very big thank you and well done to everyone who participated.”
As the only Harlow Council extra care scheme, Sumners Farm Close was built in 2014 to provide self-contained 24-hour supported, independent living for 42 properties.
Whether residents require assistance on a regular or temporary basis, Manorcourt Homecare’s flexible range of services means that it can provide as little or as much support as is needed, for as long as required.
