Our Branch

Manorcourt Care in Brooke is situated within the Brooke Industrial Park. The location of the office is easily accessible with parking available. There is wheelchair access.

The office is open Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 8.30-4.30pm. A co-ordinator is available for any out of hours/emergency calls.

Whether you require assistance on a regular or temporary basis, our flexible range of services means that we can provide as little or as much support as is needed, for as long as required.

We cover the following areas: Poringland, Brooke, Woodton, Mulbarton, Loddon, Chedgrave, Thurton, Bramerton, Kirby Beden, Rockland St Mary, Surlingham, Thurlton and surrounding villages.

All staff are qualified to level 2 or working towards this qualification. All staff are fully trained following an in-depth induction and receive regular updates. Some of the courses covered are Safeguarding, Safe Administration of Medication and Moving and Positioning

We have an on call which is available outside of the office hours which is staffed by office staff on a rota basis.

We have access to Dementia Champions and Safeguarding Champions whom are trained by the local authority.  Champions cascade information to front line carers. The champions also help find solutions to problems before they arise.

  • Personal care – we assist with showers/baths, hair washing and drying, applying creams
  • Domestic support – laundry and general housekeeping
  • Shopping – whether this is with you or for you
  • Meal preparation – we can prepare meals and cook for you. We can also prepare snacks to leave for you to enjoy later in the day.
  • Live in care
  • 24 hour care
  • Respite – emergency or planned
  • Night care – waking nights and sleeping nights
  • Escorted visits – various appointments, i.e. Doctor’s surgery, hairdresser
  • Companionship – can spend time with your loved one so you can get time for yourself
  • Support with continence including catheters, stomas, changing pads, emptying and cleaning commodes
  • Medication – prompt or administer.  We are also able to collect medication for you.
  • We can support you or a loved one from an hour to 24 hours to suit you and your needs in your own home

All day… I absolutely love my job.

In the past it’s been difficult to balance bringing up my children and working.

Working directly with the homeless. It’s nice to feel that you are making a difference, even when admin based.

The ability to lead a team, be approachable and very well organised.

What are your interests outside of work/how do you unwind?

I enjoy horse riding, cooking and drawing.

What do you enjoy/are you looking forward to the most about working at this branch?

I really like the people I work with, everyone is very friendly and helpful and I was made to feel part of the team straight away.
